Say hello to Ryan and Chelsea! I went to middle school and high school with Chelsea. She told me in high school (I thought jokingly) that one day when she gets married that I was going to be her wedding photographer. Keep in mind that I didn’t start photographing weddings until after high school. Sure enough a few years later she reached out and was like, “Hey do you remember when I said this?” Life is funny sometimes! For their shoot we roamed around downtown Tulsa, dropping in at Welltown Brewing where we got to take photos in their brew room. It was cool! Ryan and Chelsea educated me in all things beer. After filling my brain with beer knowledge and their bellies with delicious beer, we went to Woodward Park. A favorite spot of mine in Tulsa. Chelsea told me before their session that they wanted a lot of “mushy gushy” photos because that’s how Ryan makes her feel. ISN’T THAT PRECIOUS?! I could go on and on about how much I love this couple, but I’ll stop here. Thanks, guys for letting me take your engagement photos! I LOVED spending the afternoon with you. Can’t wait to photograph your wedding in May!

Clay + Julie | Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

Meet Clay + Julie! For their engagement session, we roamed around Broken Arrow stopping at a nature reserve and Main Street Tavern where they had their first date. This session is definitely at the top of my list for hottest temperature experienced during a session. It was in the 90s with at least 85 percent humidity. It. Was. Gross. Luckily that didn’t stop Clay and Julie for cuddling up with each other and having a great time. Thanks, guys for letting me take your engagement photos, I’m excited for your wedding in December! Hopefully, it won’t be as hot. 🙂

Meet Katie Davis! I’ve known the Daivs family for years, I even roomed with Katie’s sister, Jessica, in college. I was thrilled when they asked me to take Katie’s senior photos. They even drove up to OKC from the Dallas area just for the shoot. For Katie’s shoot we roamed around downtown OKC on a warm, sunny day. She is a natural in front of the camera. I love how these photos turned out. They are definitely Katie. Thanks Katie for letting me take your senior photos! Congrats on graduating high school! Good luck at Angelo State University in the fall!

Say hello to Ryan! Ryan is one of my great friends from high school. For his senior session we roamed around downtown OKC on an overcast day. Ryan wanted a not-so-typical, urban themed senior photo shoot. This style of photo shoot is not my usual style, so I was excited that I got to branch out of my comfort zone a bit.
